Over the weekend I went to Paris for a short break and I took with my my newly arrived copy of Erin Morgenstern's The Night Circus. I kind of fell in love with it.
I really wanted to start drawing in charcoal again so I decided to try a quick sketch of Marco and Celia, this is the result.
Considering it's my first charcoal sketch in 4 years I'm pretty happy with it, I rarely do faces with charcoal it's hard to get the detail and I do need to find my chalks before I continue. Hope you like it!
